Emily started Ponderosa Planning in 2019 after planning her best friend’s wedding and thriving on the combination of creativity, logistics, and working with people. A self-proclaimed organizational nerd, she is passionate about helping couples invest their emotional energy, time, and money wisely in their day. Her mantra is— be a guest at your own wedding.
Cherise
Cherise experienced firsthand the winding road of planning, complete with the speedbumps of Covid-19 and wildfire season. She joined the team in 2021, bringing with her a fiercely loyal energy to her clients and teammates. Her favorite part of wedding planning is seeing how each couple makes the day unique to them. Cherise has a calming yet in-charge presence: you can trust she has your back every step of the way.
Lauren
With a background in brand management, Lauren joined the team in 2024 after noticing that her project management and organizational skills translated seamlessly into helping friends plan their weddings. She is extroverted to her core and comes alive at any opportunity to make the people around her feel celebrated and authentically themselves. You can always count on her to help bring you back into the present moment.
