Central Oregon Forest Wedding

On a woodsy warm evening in June, Karissa + Ian were married at Lake Creek Lodge in Central Oregon. As a couple, they are self-described as loving the outdoors and all things adventure - hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, and traveling. They reached out to our team to help plan their sustainable, "elegant summer camp" wedding with their closest friends and family + their Golden Retriever Ollie. Their vision perfectly aligned with our values as a Central Oregon wedding planner!

We specialize in planning Central Oregon forest weddings and the trees themselves are our namesake: Ponderosa. The community of Camp Sherman, Oregon is full of gorgeous, fragrant pine trees that make the ideal woodsy backdrop for a summer wedding.

Karissa + Ian prioritized their photography (hello, Allison Harp!) and their guest experience through decor and food. Their clear tent sparkled beneath the forest as the party continued into the evening. The day was filled with touches that represented their relationship, including fly fishing flies as the boutonnieres and earthy shades of orange and red throughout the color scheme.

Our team provided Wedding Management for this couple, which means we were fortunate to work with Karissa + Ian for more than 18 months… basically the whole planning process! The benefit of our support is that we offer a digital planning platform, vendor recommendations, and a checklist for each step of planning. They were able to utilize our expertise from the beginning instead of only to coordinate at the end.
