Natalie + Chris' Wedding with Spanish Flair at Tetherow Resort

Natalie and Chris’ wedding at Tetherow Resort was vibrant and full of life, with Spanish-inspired details! We had the pleasure of meeting Natalie through Bespoke Bride, a bridal shop in Bend. The owner, Jenn, has been a mentor and friend ever since we started in the wedding planning business. We’re honored to be the shop’s in-house planner, lending coordination services to anyone in the #bespokefam!

Natalie, who is a Bend local, met Chris through her brother. Although the two lived far apart, their undeniable spark compelled them to stay in touch. One day Natalie flew down to Arizona to visit Chris. Almost instantly they were fully committed to each other, and Natalie decided to move south! Today, the pair resides in Vancouver, WA.

Summer Wedding Ceremony at Tetherow Resort

Rather than opting for a first look, Natalie and Chris chose to see each other for the first time as Natalie walked down the aisle. The summer weather could not have been more beautiful as sunlight poured onto the lawn! Both partners have large families, and it was so sweet to see their nieces, nephews, and siblings all participate in the ceremony. Chris’ son, Cohl, was his best man, and he even helped Natalie pull a prank on Chris by pretending to have misplaced the rings! This couple is so much fun, and I loved that their wedding allowed their personalities to shine through.

The highlight of the ceremony, though, had to be Natalie as she walked down the aisle in her gown from Bespoke Bride! From the lace bodice, buttons down the back flowed into a trumpet skirt with a chapel train and lace appliqués. Paired with a tulle veil and white roses in her hair, the look had a striking Spanish flair. She looked gorgeous!

Spanish-Inspired Reception Details

The couple’s reception featured more Spanish-inspired details, including guest favors and a signature cocktail! Guests could enjoy a kalimotxo (or “calimocho”), a traditional Spanish drink featuring equal parts red wine and coke poured over ice and served with a lemon slice. A splendid dessert table featuring red velvet and vanilla lavender cupcakes by Crumb Cakery and a cake by Strawflower Sweets also awaited them.

At the close of the celebration, the newlyweds were sent off by their guests with bubble wands! We love that each wedding we plan has a unique personality because of our fun-loving couples, and Natalie and Chris’ wedding at Tetherow Resort was no exception.
