Every so often I like to give a shoutout to one of our incredible wedding venues here in Central Oregon, and today that’s White Aspen Creative! There are so many reasons to love this DIY woodland venue. With a maximum capacity of 120 guests, it’s ideal for intimate weddings. Make It Your Own
Calling all couples who have a specific vision for their wedding day: this is your dream venue! White Aspen Creative is a “blank slate,” meaning it’s a clean, minimal space with no permanent furnishings or design ornaments. While the venue has some lounge furniture and mismatched chairs available to borrow, most events there feature rented items and are custom designed. This can be a great reason to hire a planner, like us! We pride ourselves on the ability to bring your wedding vision to life exactly as you pictured it. What’s more, we love working with this venue because they don’t place any restrictions on catering or bar options. Your imagination is the only limit!
Of course, even though White Aspen Creative is a blank slate, it’s still gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. Natural light pours into the space and arched wood beams make it feel cathedral-esque. And, with both indoor and outdoor availability, it’s equipped to host a ceremony in any season.
Natural Beauty
White Aspen Creative is located on the grounds of the Widgi Creek Golf Club, surrounded by open green space studded with ponderosa pine trees as far as the eye can see. In other words, there’s no better place to take some truly stunning portraits! In addition, the golf course deck is adjacent to White Aspen Creative’s space, and renters have the option to include it in their package for an expanded reception.
While this venue is a great choice for both your ceremony and your reception, some like to branch out in order to enjoy more of what central Oregon has to offer. For example, White Aspen Creative is the perfect place to host your reception after an elopement-style ceremony along the Cascade Lakes Highway (we recommend either Sparks Lake or South Sister!). Conversely, you could host an elegant ceremony at the venue, then hop over to Bend for a reception at one of the local craft breweries.
Convenience and Can’t-Be-Beat Service
If you’re dreaming of having your favorite taco or ice cream truck roll up at your reception, White Aspen Creative’s got you covered! Its wide circular driveway is ideal for food trucks and bar carts of all kinds so you can get creative with your food and beverage offerings. Additionally, one of our favorite local bakeries, Crumb Cakery, is located right next door. So, couples who choose Crumb can have their cake walked over to their reception, fresh and delicious as can be!
Finally, we’d be remiss not to mention that our couples have always had fantastic experiences with the staff at White Aspen Creative. The presence and diligence of venue staff can truly make or break an event, and the White Aspen crew is consistently on-site offering helping hands wherever they are needed.
