Intimate Outdoor Wedding at Loloma Lodge

Heather and Jackson got married in April at one of our favorite outdoor venues, Loloma Lodge. Having purchased a home together in the Eugene area, they already shared a close commitment but wanted to celebrate their union with a small group of family and friends. Although it rained throughout their wedding day, the skies cleared just in time for their woodland ceremony. And, evening showers couldn’t dampen the party spirit at their reception, thanks to a tent!

Unique and Colorful Bridalwear

The couple chose a palette of rich jewel tones that carried throughout the day, and included their own attire! Heather had the coolest wedding day style, opting for separates that really allowed her to customize her look. On top, she wore the Willow Crop Top from Sweet Caroline Styles, featuring sheer sleeves and eyelash lace trim. On the bottom, she went for a bold splash of color with the Florence Skirt in soft marigold chiffon. We loved the color she chose, which brightened up the gloomy day everywhere she went! Meanwhile, Jackson donned a dark teal suit with a burgundy necktie. The deep tones he wore were the perfect complement to Heather’s sunny marigold and classic ivory.

Flowers & Thyme also incorporated Heather’s touch of marigold into the wedding day flowers. Her bouquet featured muted buttercup roses and golden-hued leaves, blended with dark burgundy and plum flowers for contrast and a few white peonies for texture. And of course, the couple’s wedding party wore jewel tones as well! Jackson’s attendants wore mismatched sage, maroon, and turquoise neckties, while Heather’s attendants wore pants and gowns in a palette of burgundy, aquamarine, and peacock blue.

Tented Reception at Loloma Lodge

The couple’s reception took place outdoors under a windowed tent, surrounded by the woods. Wooden farm tables gave the space a warm and rustic feel, while amber bottles filled with colorful flowers and fresh-picked greenery added a touch of whimsy. In addition, each place setting featured a handmade macrame escort card and jewel-toned linens from For the Love of Pete. With the rain coming down outside and candles burning inside, the atmosphere couldn’t have been cozier!

Heather and Jackson stayed true to themselves and avoided most reception traditions. Instead, they played a trivia game with all of their guests! Everyone had a blast and we were so inspired by their decision to stick to what made them happy instead of worrying about expectations. While the game got underway, Lani Moku served up some delicious Hawaiian food and Honeysuckle Bartending provided drinks. Eventually, the rain came to a stop, and Heather and Jackson got to sneak away for a few more portraits as the lights from the nearby cabins glowed.

We’re all about couples trading tradition for the wedding they truly want, and this wedding at Loloma Lodge was a perfect example of that! If you want a Central Oregon wedding that’s memorable, stress-free, and all about your unique love story, we want to hear from you.
