Shelby and Andrew’s wedding at Sunriver Resort has all of the moody October inspiration you’ve been looking for! These two are some of the coolest people we’ve had the pleasure of working with. They met in a Portland dive bar and eventually relocated to the East coast, but wanted to return to the PNW to tie the knot. Their friends and family all migrated to the Bend area, where they were met with gorgeous fall sunshine. We love it when couples choose our little corner of the world for their destination wedding, so we were stoked to be a part of bringing this celebration together!

Managing a Wedding at Sunriver Resort

We provided wedding management for Shelby and Andrew, to ensure that every aspect of their day was executed seamlessly. It’s important to us that all of our couples feel like guests at their own wedding! The staff at Sunriver was a pleasure to work with, and Shelby and Andrew took a relaxed approach to the day that was so refreshing. They never took themselves too seriously, and we loved their sense of humor.

The couple selected a warm and moody color palette for the day that was absolutely perfect for the season! We had the pleasure of working with their florist, Elevine Field, for the first time, and we were blown away by the organic fall textures that they incorporated into the arrangements. Shelby’s bouquet was absolutely stunning, featuring peach roses and white pansies with the addition of fresh berries and dried elements. We also fell in love with the floral elements of the couple’s ceremony. Lanterns lined the aisle, filled with bud vases that burst with autumn leaves. Meanwhile, the couple’s unique peaked metal arch was adorned sparingly with boughs of greenery and peach florals to add a modern touch.

Dreamy Autumn Bridal Style

Prior to walking down the aisle, Shelby and Andrew shared the sweetest first look. They split a bottle of red wine and snapped some portraits in the dappled sunlight while they worked out the wedding jitters. Shelby’s long-sleeved gown was perfect for the crisp weather! With its square neckline and lacy buttoned cuffs, it had a touch of vintage flair, while clean lines of ivory crepe kept the silhouette minimal and contemporary. A berry lip from Jillian Jobert Beauty and a simple twisted updo from K&Co Bridal Styling completed her look.

Andrew wore a charcoal gray suit with a black button-down that contrasted beautifully with Shelby’s ivory. His boutonniere from Elevine Field, featuring burgundy petals and orange berries, added just the right amount of color. Together, these two brought all of our October wedding fantasies to life!
