To celebrate their love and commitment to one another, Stacy and Tony opted for an intimate, private ceremony on top Misery Ridge in Central Oregon. When they decided to elope in Central Oregon, this Portland couple reached out to us for help with planning their big day. The couple stayed at Eagle Crest in Redmond and got ready in their rental home before venturing out to say I Do.
One of my favorite memories from this incredible day was that I was fortunate enough to help Stacy button her wedding dress and assist with all the final touches before we departed for the ceremony. It was so much fun to watch her reaction in the mirror, seeing herself for the first time after getting glammed up by Kate and Kelsey.
Kayla, the photographer, and I each drove Stacy and Tony to Smith Rock separately for their first look that was filled with some many beautiful emotions.
We then met up with their officiant, a co-worker and friend of the couple, and together we all hiked to the top of Misery Ridge for the couple’s intimate wedding ceremony.
Another highlight for me was being a witness to their marriage ceremony and signing their marriage license. It’s not too often I get this opportunity, and it is truly an honor.
After the ceremony we all hiked back down for a champagne toast and for the couple to do the traditional cake cutting before sending them off as newlyweds.
Stacy and Tony, we hope that you had a great first year of marriage and cheers to many more happy years to come. Happy Anniversary!
A very rainy day in May made for the sweetest, coziest wedding for our couple Sam and Garrett. Vibrant spring color shined against the moody backdrop of the Central Oregon high desert at Brasada Ranch.
