ABOUT The Posie Shoppe
Based in Prineville, Oregon, The Posie Shoppe operates out of an adorable brick-and-mortar flower shop that offers everyday flowers, plants, sweets, and treats. This family-owned and operated business was started in 1968. Beyond being a staple to the Prineville community, they also create gorgeous floral installations, centerpieces, and personal flowers for weddings of all sizes.
When I first started Ponderosa Planning, the owner Michelle agreed to donate several floral arrangements for a styled table at The Bespoke Bride's anniversary party. She showed me a sense of community and support from day one, and I have always been grateful for her trust in a new planner!
THEIR WORK
From understated farmhouse-style centerpieces to luxurious $7,000 installations, The Posie Shoppe has an incredible skill set to match any client’s vision.
Their ability to match so many different styles, from traditional to boho, from neutral modern tones to colorful, is what makes their business so highly desirable to work with.
As a client, you can expect clear communication, in-person or virtual consultations, and a lot of warmth and love from their team.
WHY WE LOVE WORKING WITH THEM!
From a logistical perspective, The Posie Shoppe team provides any service that you need, from setting up and moving flowers from the ceremony to the reception, to clean up and disposal.
We love working with them because like many of the amazing florists in Central Oregon, they are reliable, kindhearted, and communicative.
They are team players and really have an ‘all hands-on deck’ attitude and that shined through at one of our client’s weddings in 2021. The set up team needed help folding napkins on a day when things were going wrong left and right, and without hesitating, one of The Posie Shoppe's team members stepped in to help finish the table settings. Just one of many reasons why they are a great vendor to have on your team!
The vision for this day was whimsical, woodsy, witchy wedding. Imagine 1999 Midsummer Night's Dream ethereal vibes, meets Wes Anderson light-hearted whimsy.
Happy 1 year Anniversary, Jake + Andrew! We were delighted to plan your outdoor spring wedding in Central Oregon at Ranch at the Canyons. If rain on your wedding day is good luck, these two have enough luck for a lifetime!
This month’s vendor spotlight features the Central Oregon wedding photographer Kayla Cindy Photo! We are fortunate enough to work with Kayla every year. When a couple says, “I don’t want my wedding to feel like a photo shoot” I know exactly who to recommend.
In spring of 2023, Black Butte unveiled its new lodge which has become one of our favorite wedding venues in Central Oregon. The event space features gorgeous wood floors, a versatile space, and floor to ceiling windows with views of the Cascade Range. We are obsessed with the lodge because this venue works in all seasons!
With Western touches from start to finish, this wedding at Brasada Ranch was a gorgeous celebration of this horse loving couple and their families.
In Central Oregon, there are too many amazing venues to count! We know it can be tough to search for the perfect fit, so we narrowed the list to our favorites so you can get a glimpse into the raddest places to say “I do” in Central Oregon.
Michaela and Spencer’s wedding at House on Metolius over Labor Day weekend was a celebration to remember. After a year and a half of planning, there was so much anticipation, buzzy happy energy, nerves, and love. We felt overjoyed to plan the gathering of their dreams at the iconic House on Metolius in Camp Sherman.
The best wedding planners in Central Oregon have these 5 things in common…
On a woodsy warm evening in June, Karissa + Ian were married at Lake Creek Lodge in Central Oregon. They reached out to our team to help plan their sustainable, "elegant summer camp" wedding. Their vision perfectly aligned with our values as a Central Oregon wedding planner, and we love forest weddings!
A very rainy day in May made for the sweetest, coziest wedding for our couple Sam and Garrett. Vibrant spring color shined against the moody backdrop of the Central Oregon high desert at Brasada Ranch.
